Indigenous Education Graduates Celebrated at Longhouse Grad

IMG_112517 Indigenous Education graduates, and honourary NITEP graduate Elder Larry Grant were celebrated along with Aboriginal students from other faculties at the First Nations House of Learning (FNHL) Graduation on May 23, 2015.  A total of 51 Aboriginal graduates were in attendance.

The Indigenous Education graduates in attendance included:

  • 2 NITEP
  • 3 Kinesiology
  • 10 MEd in LLED, Indigenous Knowledges & Indigenous Pedagogies
  • 1 MA in Counselling Psychology
  • 1 PhD in Educational Studies
  • Honourary NITEP Graduate, Elder Larry Grant

IMG_1152Dr. Jo-ann Archibald, Associate Dean for Indigenous Education and NITEP Director delivered the keynote address.
